This Privacy Policy explains how Meetune ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the Meetune app and related services (the "Service").

1. Information we collect

Account information: name/nickname and the identifier from your Apple or Google sign-in.
Profile information: details you choose to add, such as photos, bio, interests, and city.
Location: approximate or precise location (with your permission) to show nearby events and people.
Usage data: interactions with events, groups, matches, and messages.
Device data: device identifiers and push tokens used to deliver notifications.
Inquiries: if you contact us via our website, the name, email, company and message you provide.

2. How we use your information

To operate and personalize the Service (discover events, suggest people and groups).
To enable messaging, matches, and event participation.
To send notifications you have opted into.
To respond to advertising, partnership and support inquiries.
To keep the Service safe, prevent abuse, and comply with legal obligations.

3. Advertising

The Service may show clearly-labelled advertising and sponsored content. Advertising on Meetune is delivered using contextual signals such as city and interest categories. We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share your contact details with advertisers.

4. Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share information only with service providers that help us operate the Service (for example, push notification and hosting providers) and when required by law. Profile information you choose to make visible may be seen by other users.

5. Location

Location is used to power nearby discovery. You can disable location access at any time in your device settings; some features may then be limited.

6. Data retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active. Certain data (such as notifications, profile views, and messages) is automatically deleted after defined retention periods. When you delete your account, we remove or anonymize your personal data, except where retention is required by law.

7. Your rights

You can access, update, or delete your information from within the app. To request deletion of your account and associated data, use the in-app settings or contact us.

8. Children

Meetune is not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect data from minors.

We may update this Policy from time to time and will revise the "Last updated" date above.
